"Honestly"
I first heard of Sheila Walsh at a Women’s Conference in 1997. Her testimony is so powerful, and her love for Christ is so real. Honestly is the story of her struggle with clinical depression, and her journey from experiencing pain and heartache to experiencing God’s love and joy. She went from co-host of The 700 Club to a patient in a psychiatric hospital. But she found that sometimes God allows us to break, only to put us back together again. Sheila writes, “God in His mercy, out of a desire for a real relationship with us, will continue to allow us to fall flat on our faces until all we want is Him.” It may have seemed that Sheila had lost everything; her life was falling apart. But as Sheila learned, God is faithful. This is a wonderful book in which Sheila shares her heart and speaks openly about her experience and how it deepened her relationship with Christ.
